walking to the fair.

There is a fair every Easter nearby at a place called Daisy Nook. there has been a fair at this place for 150 years and I have been going "if only for a walk" for the last 50 years. I walked there today, such a beautiful day, normally when the fair is on it rains and everything is muddy. I have taken 109 photographs obviously I,m not going to post them all, these first lot are of the walk there.See in the first pic how the hawthorn trees have been broken but not all the way through so they will grow into a fence. The canal is across the road from where I work and some people from work go walking along it in there lunch

break. The fair is about one and a half miles from my home, when I was a boy I lived about 6 miles away and it use to take us all day to walk there and back "messing about on the way of course".
