a couple of pics in the garden. The car is a nissan micra they are very popular in England ours is 10 years old but in good condition. IT IS 1000CC and they do about 45 miles to the gallon and are cheap to insure the pic is of the latest styles they make. Young people who are just starting out buy the old ones because insurance is very expensive for big cars, my car would cost someone aged 25 about 4000 dollars for a year to insure and that's if anyone would insure them, and old people buy them because they are cheap to run and not too exciting but I,m different I like speed but when I retire I will not be able to afford to run my car. Thought I was blogging the ether seems ages since I got any comments

Car

that's the little car we bought mainly for the wife cost about 1900 dollars alright for running about in had it up to 90 miles an hour runs ok. Going out on the bike in half an hour feeling mean so I might dress the full leather gear tonight L.O.L

Monday morning

just got in work. A friend of mine is off to see the eagles on Wednesday with Dixie chicks as the support band should be a good do. I saw the eagles about ten years ago when they first got back together. A view over my back garden fence there was a hot air balloon in the distance and several others in the sky but not close enough to get a good picture.Went up in one when we where in Scottsdale Arizona. View of back garden everything coming into flower now.

like a panther in the rain

I was just thinking of a line from a Tony Joe White song when I opened this blog. Got the wife a little car today just an old run about until she has more experience driving having only just passed her test at 58. Picking it up on Monday night when I have sorted out the insurance so there will be a couple of pictures as usual later in the week after she has polished it. Its ten years old but only has 48000 miles on the clock. Been trying to figure out video blogging but not had much luck yet.

the wall everyone is sat on is the first house we had when we got married must have been a hot day because everyone is eating icecreams. Photo of my wife when she was young,how things have changed and a night photo of Oldham town centre.I was working nights in a cotton mill and the old market hall set on fire. I took this photo of the roof of the mil about midnight must have been in 1974 and when I finished work in the morning I went upto the town centre and photographed the fire men and what was left of the market. oldham market fire on the web

Can not think of anything to write today so stuck a couple of old pictures on.the black and white was a road traffic accident in the 70,s. I had just stared doing photography and I was passing on a bus and I had an old Lieca camera with me. I jump off the bus to take some pictures and they where just covering the body up as I arrived, the man had been run over by a truck. The other picture is of some cottages near where I live just before they where demolished.

a picture of me when I was about 16 years old (1962) and a picture of a beautiful woman.I bought an mp3 player before I went on hols but had some problems down loading to it. Its a 1gb creative v2oo but after loading 500mb it says its full I change it for another one but that does the same so I assume its something I am doing, just going to spend an hour seeing if I can sort it out.

Still hot

the view is around the corner where we we staying and that rock face is the one we climbed on that horrendous walk we went on.sat in the bar next to the hotel one day an this ferrari went passed and then shortly afterwards two followed by more.So I got my camera and set of in the direction they were going.About a mile down the road I came to the car park for the monastery up on the hill,and it was full of ferraris about 40 of them and two Lambergenis.They had come over from Italy on a rally and they where doing time trials up the hill to the monastery.Might be a man thing that.Shit being back at work and its even worse in this heat. the spell checker is worst than me.

Hot one today

must be near 100 degrees today.You see that path above the zig zag path we thought that was a short cut back to our hotel,which is situated near the middle bay you can see in the distance.We had been walking all day in 90 degree heat and we could see that path in the distance so we took it.After half an hour it just ended,did not turn into a track or even fade away it just fucking ended in the middle of a dense wood about 200 yards from a road with no way through,as you can imagine I was not please,we tried to get through but it was impossible so we had to walk all the way back adding an hour to an already exhausting day.
borgenvilleia was ever where so beautiful,it will not grow outdoors where we live in the north of england I also saw two jackeranda trees the last time I saw any of them was in Los Angeles on the road at the side of the tar pits where the museum is.Some tricky words to spell there.

Not got straight yet

going to be very hot today in the 90,s things are just about getting back to normal after the hols.might try and put my holiday pictures on flickr later.theres a rare photograph of the old guy there stood on the edge of a view point.two for the price of one can,t work out how to delete one of the pictures

been like a dream

only been back off holiday a couple of hours and it seems like a dream.will take a couple of days to get striaght bills and edit photos do some jobs around the house ect then there will be loads of photos.the frogs wrote loads while i have been away take me a day to read all that LOL.
