Sunday 29th.

Ok tried to take enough pictures today so I can post a few during the week. In Britain we have this British Summer Time thing where we alter the clocks by one hour forward then one hour backward every year and last night we went one hour backwards which of course now means it goes dark one hour earlier, so it,s now going dark at 5 p.m. Took some pictures in a cemetary (I like cemetaries ) and a couple of shots of some fungi growing there, later in the week, something exciting to look forward too LOL. Gruesome picture at the end of this 60 year old guy in suburb physical condition taken at a nearby gym.

It.

Well it,s that time of the year,Halloween, Bonfire night and Christmas when all the little brats come calling interrupting your quite evenings with fucking festive songs "humbug". When everybody pretends they are not at home :) .
Going to a 60th birthday tonight at least the music should be good 60,s 70,s and 80,s stuff...
two concerts week after next Robben Ford (blues guitarist) and Bill Wyman,s rhythm kings, only going to see them because Albert Lee is playing with them (great guitar player) first saw him when he played backing for the Everly Brothers on there reunion concert back in the 80,s I think..

Blood no good.

Could not give blood because I have a slight cold.
Have been weighting up high definition flat screen televisions will have to get one soon.
Bike booked in for Friday, hope it not raining its absolutely throwing it down at the moment. There was supposed to be a small shower of shooting stars over the last couple of nights but I haven,t seen any. I walk the dogs every night after I have watched the midnight news headlines and then sometimes have a read in bed till about 12:45. I,m ok with 5 or 6 hours sleep.

Blood.

Giving blood tonight if its not too crowded, last time I had too wait ages before they drained me.

Today's pictures.

Not been feeling too well the last couple of weeks don,t know what it is but I don,t feel right. I went to the doctors Friday and they are doing some blood tests "10" so I am waiting for the results now. I have never been ill in 60 years except when I was 12 I had pneumonia which was considered quite serious back in the 50,s. Been off with the odd cold of course but I have hardly ever missed school or work. I sometimes think your better off if your always ill and going to the doctors then nasty things don,t tend to creep up on you, where as if you never go its usually too bloody late when they find something. Had a lot of problems with my bike, still not been for a test yet, have to remove the front wheel tomorrow to fit some secondhand disc I bought from the states which arrived Saturday.

this is our friend Charlottes B&B and tea rooms, she used to have a cafe in a garden centre but the people who owned the garden centre did not want her there so they made life difficult for her so she sold up and bought this place.

A mean looking ball.

Sunday night.

Born 1946 I was 12 years old when my father died and my mother had to bring up 3 of us on her own my brother was 11 and my sister was 9. So this was 1958. Before we all lived in one room in a house belonging to a relative till I was 7 then we moved to a proper house with three bedrooms. I was off school sick it was a Thursday and I went upstairs to wake my dad so we could have some lunch "we called it dinner then" and he would not wake up. My mother was working in a shop in town 3 miles away I had no money no one I knew own a phone or a car so I had to go to a neihbours and borrow money to catch a bus to tell my mother. They took my dad in hospital and he died on Sunday he was 39.
Took my camera out with me on my bike a couple of hours ago thought I might get some decent sunset shot but it was misty, took a few anyway.

Saturday night 2.

Listening to Steven Stills "Manassa" at the moment. That's about half of the photos I took today, the others are just as good :). That's enough pictures for tonight doing some cd,s at the sametime. As usual click on photos to enlarge.

Saturday night.

Back from my bike ride nothing like being on the limit for a couple of hours to sharpen the senses. Usually go in a deli in Maclesfield, today I had bacon, mozzarella with sundried tomatoes on a toasted paninni then some nipples and large coffee umm scrumy. Listening to a mix of stuff at the moment a selection from the 100 greatest guitar solos.
